Spring Island

Spring Island is a 3,000-acre nature preserve and residential community in the heart of South Carolina’s fabled Lowcountry. As a community woven carefully into a landscape of breathtaking natural beauty, it is more than the sum of its parts.

Though it is home to a golf course that is among the finest in America, it is not a “golf community.” 

Though many of its residents no longer work “nine to five,” it is the farthest thing from a “retirement community” one could ever find.

In the end, Spring Island can perhaps be better defined by what it is not than by the features it includes.

Spring Island is located just 90 minutes south of Charleston, midway between Hilton Head Island and the charming coastal town of Beaufort. Historic Savannah and the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport are less than 45 minutes away.
