Staging helps a home sell faster and for closer to list price. It's not always easy to tell an owner they need to de-clutter or stage...after all, they are perfectly comfortable right now in their own home! It's helping the seller see that they need to prepare their home for someone else's eyes and for someone else's dream of living there and making it their home that will usually help convince them that staging is very important. This is especially vital in an empty home that screams "give me a low ball offer, I'm vacant!". Having a home laid out in a visually appealing way is key. Actually, sometimes it is very easy and just a matter of rearranging things the owner already has.
